RANGE SELECTOR

I HAVE A 2007 FORD THAT NEEDS A RANGE SELECTOR, I AM TOLD THAT THE RANGE SELECTOR HAS TO BE PROGRAMED TO THE PCM, IS THIS TRUE , IF SO WE HAVE THE EQUIPMENT TO DO IT, IF NOT DO WE SEND IT TO THE DEALER OR TO A TRANS SHOP.

Rob there is nothing I found that says that selector needs to be programed but it is controlled by the PCM I posted related information on the FTP Site under MAINTENANCE/FORD/2007. I would install and check for codes if there is a B code you probably have to take to the dealer to program or try your Genisys to see if it wil do it. Read the info I posted it covers reprogramming.
